Hello,

The orthodontist will recommend the most appropriate device for the initial condition. To better control the vertical position of the posterior teeth, the acrylic device that covers all the teeth is usually recommended for anterior open bite. To promote hygiene and speech, I personally prefer the non-acrylic device.

In terms of space saving or palate expansion by orthopedic modification, the result is the same in both cases.
